Flaw in argument is it equiv, reduct, or false?

......i'd think it was hasty generalisation, as just by noticing that, say, 2% of gay males were happy an 1% of straight males were unhappy (if you only met 2& and 1% of the respective populations), it would be a flaw to ume that this applies to the whole of the male population and you can derive a male's ual orientation through it. although, ive only been doing critical thinking for 2months, so i would wait a while before writing it down on the test/practice paper if i were you :)
