What defines a "real man" to you?

The term "real man" is subjective and can't be found here. I agree that people over use the word confidence but it's not what truly defines a man. A real man, in my opinion, is one who has set personal values for his life holds true to his values, it doesn't matter what those values are, just so long as they're yours. To some people it's about being there for family and for others it's about succeeding in your career and for you it may be something else. I think that's why people use the word confidence when defining a real man or woman, because it takes a lot of confidence in yourself to maintain your values in a world where so many don't have them. If you don’t know what makes you who are or what you stand for it’s no wonder you're having problems with women. As a woman I implore you to avoid using blanket statements about what women want men to do. Every woman is different but you won't be able to find and keep a good one if you haven't taken the time to get to know yourself and establish what you want. Once you've done that it will become easier to find a compatible woman because you won't bother looking at those who don't share your values.
