Do you think Cindy Anthony is just trying to save her daughter from the death penalty?

I feel for her, but her story today did not make any sense. If her dogs had eaten bamboo leaves, wouldn't she have searched "dogs ingesting bamboo leaves", instead of chlorophyll that led to chloroform? Not to mention searching 84 times before just taking them to the vet? I think she is so desperate to save her daughter from the death penalty that she has just committed perjury. Not that I blame a mother trying to save their child, but now she is opening holes in the prosecution. Those are my thoughts, what are yours?
