How's this story plot?

Recently, many people have gone missing across our planet. This includes Selena Ramirez, a thirteen-year-old girl from Florida. Most don't know how all these people have gone missing, but of course Selena does. An alien species has abducted humans (and animals) to test on. Most think they can't escape. But Selena and a select few others, think they can. In a race against time to get to the spaceship before it makes it's final journey, Selena and a motley crew of others are faced with many challenges including killer jello, an alien army, and a mutated capuchin monkey.
