You don't have to be difficult to live with, and it's actually childish of you to excuse your bad behavior by simply claiming it's from your creativity. The truth of the matter is that a human being can be both creative AND polite, kind, considerate, friendly, and so forth. Put your "additional baggage" on your canv, in your music, or whatever your chosen medium of expression is, but don't put it on your girlfriend.
