A question about the film 'Jesus Chirst Superstar' that involves Simon Zealot?

The Zealots were a group of militant Jews in Jerusalem who desperately wanted to get rid of the Roman occupation. The Zealots, or belief in their cause compromised most of the Jewish population. Jesus was a Zealot as well. He was the king that had been prophecied to come and take back Jerusalem from foreign controll. His birth was set up by the Zealots. It was originally prophecied in the old testament that there would be two messiahs, one political messiah, from the line of David, and one spiritual messiah from the Levite line of Aaron. The Zealots took Joseph, from the line of David, and married him to Mary, from the line of Aaron. When Jesus was born he fufilled both prophecies and was both messiahs in one. He was supposed to lead the war against the Roman occupation. He was supposed to fight the tax that was being levied against the Jews by the Romans. This was a big issue back then. When Jesus was asked about the tax after entering Jerusalem for pover he told the embled people to give to ceasar, what is ceasars, and to god what is gods. Basically telling Jews to pay the tax. This was out of the blue and enraged the Zealots that had annointed him as King. They felt betrayed and schemed and plotted his death. Judas Iscariot, (and Iscari, otherwise known as a Jewish asin) was used to set Jesus up, and he was turned over to the Romans to be executed as a political prisoner. The Jews told the Romans that he had proclaimed himslef king of the Jews, something that the Romans would not stand for. Therefore Jesus was crucified by his own people for trying to keep the peace.
